Juicy pork belly roast without the guesswork

With a wireless meat thermometer, you do not need to open the oven to check whether the food is done. Insert the probe into the meat, close the door and follow the temperature on the booster or your phone. When the meat reaches the temperature you selected, it alerts you.

There is no wire running from the probe, so the oven door closes fully, and you can use it under the barbecue lid just as easily as in the oven.

How to use it

1. Take the probe out of the booster. It charges there between uses.
2. Insert it into the thickest part of the meat, far enough that the line on the steel is covered.
3. Select the meat and desired temperature in the app, or use one of the preset profiles.
4. Follow the temperature on the booster or your phone. The alarm sounds when the food is ready.

1 or 2 sensors

With 1 sensor (BF-30), you can monitor one piece of meat at a time, which is enough for most dinners. With 2 sensors (BF-40), you can monitor two pieces at once, for example a roast in the oven and chicken thighs on the barbecue. Each sensor gets its own temperature. The BF-40 has a stand at the back so the booster sits steadily on the bench.

The app

In the app, you can see the temperature in °C, both the current temperature of the meat and the target temperature. There are preset profiles for beef, veal, lamb, pork, chicken, turkey and fish, as well as a graph showing how the temperature rises. When the food is ready, you receive a notification on your phone.

Useful advice

• The temperature inside the meat must not exceed 100 °C.
• Keep the probe handle away from open flames.
• Wipe the probe clean or hand wash it. Do not put it in the dishwasher or leave it submerged in water.
• Return the probe to the booster after use so it is charged for next time.
• When the thermometer eventually needs to be discarded, take it to an electronics retailer that accepts e-waste or to an appropriate recycling facility.

Do I have to use my phone?
No. The booster has its own display and alarm. The app additionally gives you a graph, preset profiles and notifications on your phone.

Does the app show °C?
Yes, the app displays the temperature in °C.

Can I use it on the barbecue?
Yes. The probe is wireless, so it works just as well on the barbecue as in the oven.

How far away can I go?
