An environmentally friendly solution to help prevent blocked, smelly drains!
Make everyday kitchen clean-up easier and more hygienic with this practical sink strainer and disposable bags. Place the frame directly over the sink, attach a thin PLA bag to the frame and let it collect food scraps before they clog the drain. When you are finished, lift out the bag and dispose of it – without mess, odour or a dirty drain.
How to install SlukRen™ – step by step
-
Place the frame in the sink, and make sure the base is clean and dry.
-
Press the frame down so the suction cup underneath attaches firmly to the sink.
-
Attach a disposable bag to the frame by folding the edge around the metal frame.
-
Check that the bag hangs freely and is ready to use.
-
Rinse plates as usual – food scraps collect in the bag. When it is full, lift it out and dispose of it.
We care about the environment!
This solution is ideal if you want a practical and more environmentally friendly alternative to plastic. The bags are made from PLA (polylactic acid) – a plant-based material that breaks down under industrial composting conditions and does not leave microplastics.
See the certifications for this at the bottom of this page.
