The cake tin that releases the base with one movement
Run the release arm one full turn under the cake before turning it out. Made for sponge cake layers and other low cakes.

Tired of loosening the base with a knife or cutting baking paper to fit the tin?
With Slippa, a flat release arm is already built into the base. When the cake is ready to come out, run the arm around before turning the cake out.
How to use it
- Grease and fill: grease the tin as usual and fill it with a recipe suited to a shallow 25 cm tin.
- Bake: bake the cake according to the recipe and let it reach the stage where it is normally ready to turn out.
- Turn and release: run the release arm around the base and turn the cake out when it is ready.
Made for low cake layers
Slippa is 3.5 cm high and is not a replacement for a tall springform tin. It is made for low cake layers and other baked goods suited to a shallow, round tin. Already have a springform tin you love? Keep it.

No. Slippa is a shallow, fixed tin with a release arm in the base.
Do I still need to grease it?
Yes. The arm releases the base, not the sides, so grease the tin as usual.
What cakes is it suitable for?
Low cake layers that suit a shallow 25 cm tin, such as sponge cake layers.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. Wash it by hand and dry it thoroughly.
