About us

Til Kjøkkenet is a Norwegian online store for people who spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

We are operated by Gostol AS from Finnøy in Rogaland, just outside Stavanger. The store started with a simple frustration: too much kitchenware is either cheap and unattractive, or good-looking and impractical. We wanted both.

What we choose

We only bring in things we would be happy to leave out on our own benchtop. That means tools that genuinely make a job faster, in materials that stand up to everyday use — wood, bamboo, stainless steel and glass. We have a dedicated collection for plastic-free kitchenware, because more and more people are asking for it.

Available shipping charges and any delivery estimates for your New Zealand order are provided in the relevant product information or at checkout, where available. Our separate shipping policy explains tracking, separate parcels, addressing errors and delivery enquiries.

When something goes wrong

It happens occasionally. We answer you ourselves by email, Monday to Friday between 08 and 16 Norway time.

Where the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) applies, we handle requests for remedies as the seller; you do not need to seek a remedy directly from a manufacturer or supplier. We may request reasonable proof of purchase. Our voluntary 30-day change-of-mind period does not limit any rights available under the CGA or Fair Trading Act (FTA).
